Opinion: Boxing is the old Astro scroll that holds the title of the scroll with only two moves. That's right, Boxing only has two moves. Despite the rather obvious lack of variety, Boxing is not the weakest scroll in the world and can actually be rather annoying to come up against. With the most unique delay animations in Rumble Fighter, Boxing can be both confusing and irking for any opponent to fight.

Boxing's punch combo is a juggle launcher. And it's really the only combo you can use. However, it's pretty good and that's really the only reason why Boxing doesn't suck worse.

Boxing's first punch is quite good, since it's fast and has some good forward range. While the recovery is also fast, it also has a "weave" if you choose to end the combo there as part of the delay/ending animation, a quality present in all of Boxing's punches. Boxing's second punch is alright, but nothing noteworthy. Like the first punch, it has another weave, although it's much larger this time. Boxing's second punch takes almost an eternity to recover from, but it follows into one of the largest delays ever. Boxing's third punch can be delayed to nearly absurd amounts, and when combined with those weaves Boxing has, it can very quickly get very confusing. The third punch also has another weave after it ends, and like the second, also leads into a delay for the fourth, although noticeably shorter. Generally, if your second punch lands, go for the rest of the combo.

Boxing's punches don't really have much stun, but their delays and confusion qualities more than make up for it.

Boxing's two-hit knockdown is its only form of reliable damage and it's slow and pitiful. You can use it to punish really big mistakes your opponent makes, since the damage it does is not outright terrible. It can't be delayed though, so it's not really advised to use this as pressure or outside of punishment.

The juggle is very easy. No movement required.

STRATEGY:

Boxing is a scroll with only two combos. And one of those combos is practically useless, so Boxing only has its PPPP to defeat people. And since Boxing only has one combo, you'll have to utilize it to its maximum to do anything. Make full use of Boxing's delays and confusion, and make fights as short as possible. The longer fights drag on with Boxing, the more predictable you will become since you only have four attacks to hit people with. Boxing is all about being fast, confusing, and annoying.
